Accessible Housing provides Specialist Disability Accommodation. The National Disability Insurance Scheme allocates funding to help cover the costs of living in our homes.
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is specialised housing for people with extreme functional impairment, or very high support needs.
SDA empowers people living with disability by giving them greater choice and control over the environments they live in.
There are four categories of SDA. Accessible Housing, creates and manages homes in each category.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a federal initiative that provides funding and support pathways for people with permanent and significant disability.
The scheme helps cover the cost of living in Specialist Disability Accommodation by providing eligible participants with rent subsidies.
